Dan Tranberg is an award-winning journalist, editor, educator, artist and art critic. His writing has appeared in more than a dozen national and international publications including Art in America, NY Arts, BOMB and Art on Paper. He has been a frequent contributor to The Plain Dealer since 1998. In 2003, he co-founded the magazine Angle: A Journal of Arts and Culture. He was awarded an Ohio Excellence in Journalism award in 2004, and received Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowships in 2002 and 2007. Dan currently teaches Visual Literacy and Professional Writing at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
